Erin Francis is a professional Business Consultant, Career Specialist and Entrepreneur. She is driven to help others succeed in their career choices and their businesses. Her mission is to start and grow businesses, increase entrepreneurs’ access to capital and improve their financial acumen. Erin helps leaders thrive in their careers, navigate change, lead diverse teams, and build healthy, effective organizations. Her industry experience encompasses the legal, educational, marketing, administrative, and non-profit industries. She works with companies in various stages of development from start-up to planned growth. She is excellent with creating sales and business development strategies.
Erin has over 26 years of experience in the legal field, 16 of those years as a Corporate Legal Assistant, which is a key contributor in her technical, business and legal writing skills. She began her career in Beaumont, Texas and moved to the Greater Houston Texas area and continued to perfect her craft. As a graduate of Lamar University, Beaumont, Texas (BAAS), Erin brings strategic insight and success in fully engaging in business and organizational development.
As an independent resume writer with an entrepreneurial mindset, Erin has spent more than 16 years helping professionals at varied skill levels in numerous industries. She has developed career strategies that have highlighted individuals’ professional goals, bridged employment and skill gaps, and reached higher levels of earning potential and success within their careers.
Erin has worked in both the legal and educational field and has assisted jobseekers from entry to executive level in varying industries as well as offering specialized services to harder placed job seekers such as displaced workers, unemployed workers, career changers, workers with a criminal conviction, recent graduates and veterans.
Erin is a Program Coordinator for a non-profit organization that empowers women and reduces recidivism in our communities by providing resources, mentorship, and advocacy for those women affected by incarceration. She oversees the planning and coordination of the programs and their activities, supports the growth of the organization, and ensures that the daily operations of the programs run smoothly. She is a skilled trainer and facilitator with core competencies in strategic planning, diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I), and effective program management.
Additionally, Erin is a member of the Houston Racial Equality Action Plan Committee, a Non-Partisan Remote Pre-Election Monitor working with the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund, and a member of the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Training Program in one of the top global law firms.
